Realme Pad X 5G Official Teaser Confirms 2K Display, 33W Fast Charging

Realme is gradually strengthening its product portfolio in the mobile tablet space. Currently, the company has two tablet models that cater to the budget audience including the Realme Pad and the Realme Pad Mini. However, two more Realme tablet models are confirmed for May 26 launch. The Realme Pad X 5G tablet is one of the models expected to be unveiled during tomorrow’s event in China. We have come across multiple leaks related to the Realme Pad x 5G tablet. Now, Realme itself has teased multiple features ahead of the launch.

Realme Pad X 5G Official Teaser Reveals Additional Specs Details

Realme’s Chief Marketing Officer, Xu Chi Chase, revealed some new insights on the brand’s upcoming 5G tablet. Chase took to the official Weibo handle to share the battery and display specifications. The teaser poster shared on the Chinese microblogging website confirms a big 11-inch screen on the Realme Pad x 5G tablet.

The panel used will be LCD similar to the previous-generation Realme Pad tablets. The Realme Pad X 5G’s display is said to come with a 2K screen resolution. It is not known if the panel will support a 120Hz or 90Hz refresh rate. It will be a TUV Rheinland-certified display as per the teaser. Apart from the display, the Realme Pad X5’s tablet battery capacity has been confirmed.

The Realme tablet will be powered by an 8,340 mAh battery unit. This massive battery unit will be enough to deliver more than a day of backup. The Realme Pad X 5G will be available with 33W fast charging support as well. No camera specifications have been revealed just yet. We are not sure if the Realme Pad X 5G will feature dual rear or a single rear camera module.

We might get to see a standard 8MP main camera at the back. But this is speculation and the exact camera specifications might differ. The chipset and configurations are also yet to be announced. For which, we might have to wait till the official launch. The upcoming Realme Tablet is initially debuting in China on May 26. The global as well as the Indian launch timeline for the Realme Pad X 5G, is still kept a mystery. However, Realme should reveal some details during the China launch.

Oppo has launched its second tablet along with Oppo Reno 8 smartphone series in China. The first tablet was launched in February this year. Notably, the Oppo Pad Air comes with the same hardware as the Relame Pad, but with few changes.

The newly launched Oppo Pad Air comes with a slim bezel, dual-tone design, an LCD panel, and a single rear camera on the back. Also, it has brushed aluminum build.

The newly launched tablet has 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM coupled with 64GB/128GB storage options, which can be expandable up to 512GB. The tablet runs Android 12 OS with ColorOS 12 for tablet. On the imaging front, the tablet has an 8MP camera on the back and can record 1080p videos.

Plus, you will find a 5MP camera on the front fr selfies and video chats. In addition, the tablet support quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, and USB Type-C audio. There is a 7,000mAh battery along with 18W fast charging support.

On the connectivity front, the smartphone includes Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, and a USB type C. The tablet weighs 440 grams and measures 245.08 x 154.84 x 6.94 mm.

The 4GB+64GB model of the Oppo Pad Air will cost you RMB 1299, which is close to Rs. 15,100. The 4GB + 128GB version and 6GB + 128GB variant will cost you RMB 1,499 that is close to Rs. 17,500 and RMB 1,699 which is close to Rs. 19,810. The pre-order will of the tablet will start on May 31st in China

The OPPO Pad Air tablet is announced in three different configurations. The base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration is priced at 1299 Yuan (approx. Rs. 15,100), while the 4GB RAM+ 128GB storage model will cost 1,499 Yuan (approx. Rs. 17,400).

The OPPO Pad Air high-end model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model will be available for sale at 1,699 Yuan (approx. Rs. 19,700). The tablet is currently launched in China in Fog Gray and Star Silver shades. OPPO is yet to announce the Pad Air tablet’s launch timeline for India and other global regions.

The Realme tablet was introduced with the standard 4G network support and premium mid-range hardware including the Helio G80 chipset and more. Recently, the Realme Pad mini marked its entry into the Indian market with trimmed-down hardware compared to the standard Realme Pad 4G tablet. But now, Realme is ready to take its first leap in the tablet market with a 5G-backed tablet; or two of them.

Realme Pad 5G Tablet In Works: Two Realme Tablet Models Might Launch Soon

The Realme Pad tablet will now be launched with 5G network connectivity. The upgraded version of the Realme Pad tablet is expected to launch soon as per a new leak. Noted Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station has shared some major clues on the upcoming Realme Pad 5G tablet models. The tipster has also hinted at what all features we can expect from the new-generation Realme tablets that are going official in China sometime soon.

According to the leak by Digital Chat Station, one of the upcoming Realme Pad 5G tablets will be breaking covers with the Realme Pad 5G Master Explorer Edition moniker. This would be the high-end model out of the two upcoming Realme tablets. The basic variant is expected with the same Realme Pad 5G moniker.

Speaking of the specifications, the standard Realme Pad 5G as per the leakster will employ the octa-core Snapdragon 870 5G chipset. This means the upcoming Realme tablet will be competing against the likes of the OPPO Pad and the Xiaomi Pad 5 in India and other markets. Notably, these two OPPO and Xiaomi tablets also use the same premium Qualcomm Snapdragon  870 chipset.

The tipster has not specified the RAM and storage capacity for this variant. However, we can expect up to 8GB RAM and 128Gb storage along with Android 12 OS. The standard Realme Pad 5G is further leaked with an IPS LCD panel that will deliver a 2.5K screen resolution. While the camera specifications have not been revealed, the upcoming 5G Realme tablet will is said to use a massive 8,360 mAh battery unit. Unfortunately, the fast charging capabilities are unspecified.

On the other hand, the Realme Pad 5G Master Explorer Edition will be using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipset. This will make it one of the most premium Android tablets in its league. In fact, the Realme Pad 5G Master Explorer Edition could be the first Android tablet to be equipped with the unannounced Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ processor.

Just for reference, Qualcomm is likely to announce this new flagship octa-core chipset in the second half of 2022. We can expect the same timeline for the Realme Pad 5G Master Explorer Edition launch as well in the global markets. As of now, that’s the only information available on the upcoming Realme Pad 5G and the Realme Pad 5G Explorer Edition tablets.

Separately, Realme has shared a teaser poster via its official Weibo handle that confirms the upcoming tablet launch in China. It is not clear at this point if the upcoming tablet would be a standard Realme Pad 4G model or any of the newly suggested 5G Realme Pad tablets. Since the Chinese audience is yet to receive the standard Realme Pad 4G tablet yet, chances are the remaining two variants are launched later. While the website listing doesn’t reveal the key features and specs, it does hint at an imminent launch.

Some reports hint at the OnePlus Pad India launch by June 2022.
