New prepaid plans have been released by Vodafone Idea for its customers. The telecom operator has also reportedly reduced tariffs in its postpaid division. The telco has two unlimited calling plans, i.e., Rs. 2,999 and Rs. 2,899 with a 365-day or annual validity period.

Unlimited phone calls, SMS benefits, and 850GB of 4G data connectivity are included in the Rs. 2,999 plan. As part of Vi’s Binge All Night perk, the plan also provides unlimited nighttime data access from 12 am to 6 am without any additional cost. Vodafone Idea Rs. 2999 Prepaid Plan: Benefits

100 SMS per day, unlimited voice calls, and 850GB of the internet are included in Vi’s Rs. 2,999 prepaid plan — all for a validity of 365 days for prepaid subscribers. In addition to this, the users will now receive unlimited nighttime bandwidth from 12 am to 6 am. As part of Vi’s Binge All Night feature, users can access the internet to browse, watch, and do much more between these hours without incurring any additional cost.

Vodafone Idea: Other Yearly Prepaid Plans

As mentioned, it’s not just the new Rs. 2,999 prepaid package. The telecom provider also provides prepaid plans for Rs. 1799, Rs. 2899, and Rs. 3099 with 365-day validity. What these plans have in common is that they all offer unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day. The difference is in the data they provide. The Rs. 1,799 plan comes with 24GB of data. The Rs. 2,899 plan offers 1.5GB of data per day and the Rs. 3,099 plan offers 2GB of data per day.

Vi recently launched four new international roaming (IR) packages dedicated to Qatar’s ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022. These roaming recharge packages include data connectivity, outbound calls to India, SMS, and other perks. This plan is available in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

A new prepaid plan from Airtel is now available for Rs. 199. The noteworthy part about the Rs. 199 plan is that it would be valid for an entire month, unlike other prepaid plans that only provide calling and data perks. This indicates that you receive benefits for 30 days rather than 28 or 24 days. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s (TRAI) directive that there be prices with validity according to a calendar month is complied with by Airtel’s new plan.

Airtel Rs. 199 Plan: What’s New?

TelecomTalk was the first to notice the Airtel Rs. 199 package which has a 30-day validity and 3GB of total data. Additionally, those who reload with this plan receive 300 SMS in total as well as unlimited calling, although customers will only be able to use up to 100 per day as per the government’s rules.

Airtel Thanks also offers free Hello Tunes and access to Wynk Music as additional package perks. Once users have used up their allotted 300 SMS, they will be charged Rs. 1 per SMS, and any more data consumption beyond the allotted 3GB would be charged at the rate of 50p per Mb.

Even if users repeat the same plan, they won’t be able to carry over unused SMS and data into the following month when recharging with this plan.

The plan is a wonderful option for people searching for a reasonably priced plan that provides unlimited calling and 30-day validity. While it doesn’t offer a lot of data, this plan is a great option for those who primarily use WiFi or simply don’t need additional mobile data. Add to these plans and if you need more data, simply add a Data Booster plan to get more data.

In its new Vi Max lineup, Vodafone Idea has unveiled four new postpaid plans. According to a statement from the company, the Vi Max plans provide greater data allotments, control over monthly costs, priority customer care, a free OTT subscription, and more. Both new and existing subscribers in India can choose from the new plans.

There are four Vi Max plans with prices ranging from Rs. 401 and Rs. 1,101. The plans come in denominations of Rs. 401, Rs. 501, Rs. 701, and Rs. 1,101. All of the plans include 3,000 SMS per month in addition to unlimited voice calls and broadband during the night.

The Rs. 401 package provides free subscriptions to Vi Movies & TV, Hungama Music, SonyLIV, and Vi Games. Plans for Rs. 501 and Rs. 701 include a free year of Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar, Hungama Music, Vi Movies & TV, and Vi Games. Access to SonyLIV, Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar, Hungama Music, Vi Movies & TV, and Vi Games is available with the new REDX 1101 Plan.

Additionally, Vi has enhanced its family plans to include Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar, and four connections for Rs. 999 and five connections for Rs. 1,149, respectively.

Benefits are increased with higher postpaid plans. For instance, a base tier that costs Rs. 401 still includes a 12-month membership to Sony LIV Premium even though it does not include a free subscription to Amazon Prime Video or Disney+ Hotstar. Additionally, it is possible to carry over unused data from one payment cycle to the following.

In addition to the above benefits, users can also get discounts on flight tickets and hotel bookings through Makemytrip. This plan also provides free access to domestic and international airport lounges for Rs. 2,999 plan. The new Vi Max plans are available in all of the company’s telecom circles.

The latest Mobile Network Experience Report has been released by OpenSignal, a global provider of independent insights and data integrating network experience and market performance across convergence, wireless, and broadband operators.

According to the report, Airtel is the “outright” winner in the categories of video experience, gaming experience, and voice app experience. The company was also recognized as the winner in the category of “Best Download Speed Experience” in the survey. The average user recorded 13.6Mbps which was 0.3–0.6Mbps faster than the competition and nearly 10.6Mbps faster than BSNL.

After reviewing consumer mobile network experiences across India’s four major mobile network providers for a period of 90 days beginning on June 1, 2022, and concluding on August 29, 2022, Opensignal came to its conclusions. Performance was assessed both nationally and in 22 telecom circles.

“Airtel has the edge when it comes to quality of experience on Indian mobile networks. When streaming videos, playing multiplayer mobile games, or using OTT voice services via mobile networks, our Airtel users had the best possible experience,” says the report.

Reliance Jio Is The Leader In Availability And 4G Coverage

In the category of Coverage, Reliance Jio takes home all three awards. It has won both the prizes for 4G availability and availability in general once again.

According to the report, “Our Indian users were able to spend the highest percentage of time (99.4%) connected to mobile broadband services on Jio’s 4G network.” Apart from this, Jio also won the 4G Coverage Experience Award. Jio users connected to 4G in the largest percentage of locations visited by users in India which is 95 out of 100.
