With Meta introducing Avatars to their apps, Instagram is one of the places you can use this digital image of yourself. You can create your own avatar to enjoy conversations with your contacts or use it as your profile picture.

You can design your own avatar however you like, choosing your own hairstyle, skin tone, eye color, clothing, and accessories. You can use the same avatar across apps, from Facebook and Messenger to Instagram, even if you sync it in the Accounts Center.

How To Create Your Instagram Avatar?

Step 1: Go to the Instagram app and go to your profile by clicking on your profile picture in the bottom right.

Step 2: Then, at the top, click on ‘Edit Profile’ and choose ‘Setting.’

Step 3: Click ‘Create Avatar’ from the Accounts setting and then click on ‘Get Started.’

Step 4: You can customize your avatar here by selecting the skin tone, hairstyle, face color, eye, eyebrow, nose, mouth, facial hair, body, dress, hat, and a variety of other accessories. While creating your avatar, you can tap to see yourself on camera.

Step 5: When you’ve finished customizing your avatar, tap ‘Done’ and select ‘Save Changes’ to keep any changes you’ve made to your avatar.

And it’s done. Your own avatar was made by you. At any time, you can edit your avatar from your profile by selecting Edit Profile, followed by Edit avatar.

How To Share Your Instagram Avatar On Stories?

Step 1: Open the story creation UI and click on the sticker icon.

Step 2: From the list of stickers, you need to choose ‘Avatar’ to access your created avatar.

Step 3: This will display the stickers that were created using your unique avatar. Simply place an avatar from the list and share it like any other sticker.
