The DJI Air 3 comes equipped with a dual 4K camera system, comprising a wide-angle lens with a 24mm equivalent focal length and an f/1.7 aperture, alongside a medium telephoto lens with a 70mm equivalent focal length and an f/2.8 aperture. These lenses, both 1/1.3-inch in size, boast dual native ISO support and deliver exceptional image quality.
When compared to its predecessor, the DJI Air 3 showcases superior video capabilities. It allows for uncropped, high-frame-rate 4K shooting at 100fps and 60fps with HDR, resulting in visually stunning footage. In contrast, the Air 2S offers 5.4K at 30fps or 4K at 60fps. Additionally, the Air 3 supports dual 2.7K vertical shooting in a 4:3 aspect ratio, eliminating the need for post-cropping.

The DJI Air 3 drone has a smart safety system called “omnidirectional vision sensing.” This system can see obstacles from all sides and uses APAS 5.0 to steer around them. With its new O4 HD image transmission system, the DJI Air 3 boasts a range of up to 20 kilometers, providing improved stability and supporting 1080p/60fps image transmission. Despite being slightly heavier than its predecessor, the Air 3 compensates with a higher wind resistance of 12 m/s.
It also offers an extended battery life with maximum flight time of 46 minutes with its 4241 mAh battery, a 48% improvement over the previous generation. The new charging hub allows power collection, enabling the transfer of remaining power from multiple batteries to the one with the highest capacity.
