Dyson Zone Air-Purifying Headphones: Specification
The Dyson Zone headphones come equipped with active noise cancellation (ANC) and incorporate eight ANC microphones, constantly monitoring the surrounding noise a staggering 3,84,000 times per second (as advertised). Additionally, two extra microphones are dedicated to telephony and transparency functions.
Powered by 40mm neodymium speaker drivers with a 16 Ohm impedance, these headphones deliver exceptional audio quality. They also offer three distinct ANC modes: Isolation, Conversation, and Transparency. Isolation provides the highest level of noise cancellation. Conversation mode activates when you lower the visor, while Transparency mode amplifies ambient sounds.
The Dyson Zone headphones have an integrated air purification system. The earcups house two motors that generate two streams of purified air. These motors offer four purification modes – low, medium, high, and auto, catering to different levels of exertion. With a removable face visor, Dyson’s advanced filtration system effectively removes city pollutants, including nitrogen dioxide and viruses, providing clean, breathable air for the wearer.
The Dyson Zone headphones can be paired with the MyDyson app, available for both iOS and Android smartphones. The app notifies users when it’s time to replace the filter and enables customization of listening preferences.
