India is gradually becoming a major hub for budget electric two wheelers. Multiple new electric scooters have been launched in the last few months for the affordable consumers. Joining this bandwagon now is Elesco which has introduced two new options for the Indian consumers called the Elesco V1 and the Elesco V2. The latest range of Elesco e-scooters have been announced under Rs. 1 lakh and offers features such as multiple riding modes, up to 100 km range, and more.

The Elesco V1 and V2 electric scooters have some identical features and only a minimal hardware/powertrain differences. Both these new budget electric scooters are equipped with a 2.3 kWh battery pack. Besides the same battery, the motor driving the Elesco V1 and the Elesco V2 electric scooters is also identical, i.e., a 72V hub electric motor.
Speaking of the performance, the newly launched Elesco V1 can attain a top speed of up to 70 kmph, while the Elesco V2 can reach a top speed of up to 85 kmph. The Elesco V1 takes 9 seconds to reach from 0-40 kmph, whereas, the Elesco V2 takes 8 seconds for the same.
As for the range, both Elesco V1 and the Elesco V2 can deliver up to 100 range with each charge cycle. There are slight variations in the peak power. The Elesco V1 produces a peak power of 2.5kW, while the Elesco V2 can generate up to 4kW peak power.
Add on features offered by the Elesco V1 and the Elesco V2 includes Bluetooth connectivity, mobile app support, GPS and internet compatibility, USB charging port, keyless iginition, and side stand sensor. Both electric scooter comes with multiple riding modes such as including Eco, City, and Sports.
Braking is handled by disc and telescopic suspensions upfront and rear respectively. Charging time taken by both these electric scooters is up to 7 hours.

The Elesco V1 and the Elesco V2 electric scooters can be purchased starting at Rs. 69,999 in India. Both these electric scooters are amongst the most affordable options launched in the country in the recent times. In fact, the starting price tag of these newly launched Elesco e-scooters is cheaper than most flagship foldable smartphones and high-end iPhone models.
