Get ready, Fortnite fans! Epic Games is launching Fortnite version 29.40 on May 3, and it’s bringing a galaxy far, far away to your favorite game. This update will sprinkle Star Wars magic across various Fortnite games, including Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, Fortnite Festival, and Fortnite Rocket Racing. Star Wars Adventures Await
Head over to LEGO Fortnite to unlock Star Wars Builds and Decorations. Battle Royale enthusiasts can wield a Wookiee Bowcaster against enemies or hang out in a Mos Eisley Cantina-inspired area at the Festival Jam Stage. In Rocket Racing, you can zoom around with a Podracer and a Darth Maul Decal.
What’s New In Fortnite Battle Royale?
Here’s a rundown of the new Star Wars goodies coming to Fortnite: Battle Royale:
- Chewbacca: The legendary Millennium Falcon co-pilot is in trouble. Players will need to rescue Chewbacca from the clutches of the Empire. Once freed, Chewie will lend a paw in battles.
- Wookiee Bowcaster: Save Chewbacca, and you’ll get your hands on his powerful weapon. Find it in Imperial Chests at Imperial Roadblocks. This bowcaster fires individual quarrels rapidly and delivers heavy explosive shots.
- Darth Vader’s Lightsaber: Darth Vader and Stormtroopers are back on the island. Defeat Vader to claim his iconic lightsaber, which can block incoming fire and slice through enemies.
- E-11 Blasters: Take down Darth Vader and his troops to grab their blasters. You can also find them in Imperial Chests at Darth Vader’s landing sites.
- Star Wars Quests: Complete new Star Wars Quests to level up your Battle Pass and earn rewards. Get the AWR Pack Back Bling for completing ten quests.
- Star Wars Outfits: Dress up as your favorite characters with outfits like Dagobah Luke, Lando Calrissian, and AWR Trooper, available in the Shop. Plus, enjoy a variety of Star Wars Series Outfits, including favorites from the Original Trilogy and the New Trilogy eras.
- Beskar Car Body Bundle: Starting May 3, you can get your hands on the Beskar Car Body bundle, featuring Beskar-themed items like car bodies, wheels, and decals inspired by characters like Din Djarin, The Armorer, Boba Fett, Bo-Katan Kryze, and Sabine Wren.
