Google has finally announced the launch of two new smartphones on Tuesday. The company has launched Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro smartphones powered by Tensor processors. Notably, this is Google’s first System-on-Chip for its smartphones. Both smartphones will also have Android 12 out of the box. Let’s find out all details about the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro.
Google Pixel 6 Specifications
The newly launched smartphone comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen along with a 90Hz dynamic refresh rate. The smartphone features a punch-hole cutout, Gorilla Glass Victus, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Besides, the Pixel 6 smartphone will be available in two variants, such as 8GB of RAM and 128GB/ 256GB of storage options. The device supports a 4,614 mAh battery along with wireless and 30W fast charging.
Also, the Pixel 6 comes with a 50MP main camera sensor and a 12MP ultrawide lens. Upfront, there is an 8MP selfie camera. The device also has software features like Magic Eraser, Motion Mode, Face Unblur, and Manual white balancing.
In addition, the smartphone has several connectivity options, such as 5G, 4G LTE, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth v5.2. The smartphone has sensors like a magnetometer, accelerometer, ambient light, proximity sensor, barometer, and pyrometer. The Pixel 6 comes with Live Translate for messages and pictures, which can work without the internet.

The smartphone runs Android 12 and comes with a 6.7-inch QHD+ OLED screen, 120Hz dynamic refresh rate, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The Pixel 6 Pro smartphone is also powered by a Tensor processor and equipped with 12GB of RAM and 128GB/ 256GB /512GB of storage.
Furthermore, the smartphone supports a triple rear camera setup at the back. It includes a 48MP telephoto shooter, 50MP wide-angle camera, and 12MP ultra-wide shooter. For selfies, the Pixel 6 Pro supports an 11.1 MP sensor. The smartphone supports 5,003mAh battery, 30W wired fast charging, and 23W wireless fast charging.
Similarly, it has a quick tap to snap along with Snapchat features. It includes Face Unblur Magic Eraser, Motion Mode, Real Tone, and other custom camera features. The Pixel 6 Pro also supports 5G, 4G LTE, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Bluetooth v5.2, and a USB Type-C port.
Google Pixel 6 And 6 Pro Price And Availability
The Google Pixel 6 will cost you $599, which is close to Rs. 45,000, whereas the Pixel 6 Pro is available for $899 ( close to Rs. 67,500). The Pixel 6 smartphone comes in three colors like Kinda Coral, Sorta Seafoam, and Stormy Black. On the other hand, the Pixel 6 Pro will be available in Cloudy White, Sorta Sunny, and Stormy Black shades.
It is worth noting that smartphones will be only available in the US from October 28th, 2021, and pre-orders are already started. However, the company has not made any announcement on the India price and the availability of the devices.
