Google is ready to take the wraps of its new-generation Pixel smartphone lineup. The upcoming series will consist of the vanilla Pixel 8 and the Pixel 8 Pro models. Both these latest Pixel smartphones will be making an official debut in the global market as well as in India in the coming months. Google has started dropping off teasers surrounding its upcoming Pixel 8 series India launch. When is the Google Pixel 8 series launch scheduled for in India and when does the registrations begin? Google Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro Official India Launch Date, Pre-Booking Details
Google will be hosting a “Made by Google” event where the brand will introduce the new Pixel 8 series smartphones. The Pixel Watch 2 is also expected to debut alongside the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro on October 4, 2023. Google will be streaming the ‘Made By Google’ event live via its official YouTube channel and also official Google Store website.
Notably, the event is scheduled to begin at 10.00 AM EST in New York (around 7.30 pm IST). Post the official launch, the new Pixel 8 lineup will go up for pre-orders in the Indian market too. The timeline for this begins on October 5, 2023 in the country. The same has been confirmed by Google itself.
The brand has started sharing teasers confirming the Pixel 8 series official launch in India. The teasers also reveal the design elements of the new-generation Pixel smartphones. Both vanilla Pixel 8 and the Pixel 8 Pro will be sold via Flipkart in the Indian market. Unfortunately, the pricing details are under the wraps but the details could surface in the coming week.

Google Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro Expected Specifications And Features
The official teaser shared by the brand showcases the standard Pixel 8 in Rose color, while the Pixel 8 Pro can be seen in Porcelain shade. The horizontal camera strip is also visible. Notably, the Pixel 8 Pro model will come with a triple rear camera setup, while the vanilla Pixel 8 will feature a dual-lens camera hardware. Both Google Pixel 8 and the Google Pixel 8 Pro are said to be powered by the latest Google Tensor G3 mobile chipset.
