Google has apparently scheduled its annual developer conference called I/O 2023 for next month. The search giant is set to foray into the foldable smartphone race with its first foldable handset dubbed the Pixel Fold. The new-generation Google Pixel Fold has been in the rumor mill for a long now and multiple leaks have given us insight into the hardware and design elements. Following its render leaks, the entire spec-sheet of the Google Pixel Fold foldable smartphone has surfaced online. Let’s take a look below:

Tipsetr Yogesh Brar has leaked the full specifications and features of the upcoming Google Pixel Fold smartphone. Most of the leaked specifications corroborate the ones leaked earlier. The foldable Pixel phone’s outer screen measures 5.8 inches and will support a standard HD+ resolution. The inner display on the Google Pixel Fold will measure 7.6 inches when unfolded.
Speaking of the resolutions, the Pixel Fold’s outer panel will support a 120Hz refresh rate and come with a 17:9 aspect ratio. The outer screen will further support 408 PPI pixel density. Speaking of the inner panel’s resolution, it will support 1840 x 2208 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 6:5. This panel will also support a 120Hz refresh rate.

The imaging hardware on the Pixel Fold’s front panel will comprise a set of two lens including a 9.5MP front sensor and an 8MP sensor on the inner panel. The rear camera setup will include a 48MP main lens which will be aided by a pair of 10.8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a telephoto lens with up to 5x optical zoom.

At its core, the Pixel Fold smartphone is said to be powered by the Google’s in-house Tensor G2 chipset combined with the Titan M2 security chip. The Pixel Fold will probably be pre-installed with Android 13 OS instead of the upcoming Android 14 OS. The Google Pixel Fold could come with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB native storage space. A 4,500 mAh battery unit could keep the lights on. The device will get 23W fast charging support.

The Google Pixel Fold’s 12GB+ 256GB model is likely to cost $1,799 which translates to around Rs. 1,47,500 in Indian currency. Whereas, the Pixel Fold with 12GB RAM+ 512GB storage is said to be priced at $1,919 which is approximately Rs. 1,57,000. The color options tipped are Obsidian and Chalk.
