Firefox Bikes Ltd. subsidiary, Hero Lectro has just added a new electric cargo-style bike to its collection. The MUV-E is the latest offering from the company which is designed to cater to the last mile delivery solution. The new commercial electric bicycle is priced under Rs. 1 lakh and is expected to meet the surging demand for affordable delivery vehicles in the country.

Hero Lectro MUV-E Electric Cargo Bicycle Design Highlights
The newly launched MUV-E flaunts a standard bicycle design while emphasizing the requirements with heavy-duty deliveries. This electric bicycle will handle extensive load deliveries with the dedicated big luggage basket at the front. This front luggage basket is said to handle up to 10kg of load capacity.
That’s not the only load this electric bicycle will be able to carry. The additional sturdy carriage at the rear is also capable of accommodating and ferrying up to 25 kgs of luggage capacity making it an ideal and eco-friendly solution for the last mile delivery runs. The robust and sturdy build of the Hero Lectro MUV-E further allows a collective luggage carrying capacity of up to 120 kgs which is inclusive of the riders weight.

The MUV-E electric cargo bicycle is loaded with a 14.5 AH battery pack. It is a removable battery module which allows convenience with swapping and charging. With this battery pack, the MUV-E delivers up to 70 km of range on a full charge.
It is worth mentioning that the MUV-E also has pedals which assists with which the delivery partners can easily make the last runs even if the battery charges depletes completely. That said, the MUV-E electric cargo bicycle’s battery will take around 8 hours for a full charge. Both electric motor as well as the battery pack on this new commercial electric cargo bicycle have an IP67 certification which will add protection from dust as well as water splashes during rainy season.
Speaking of the utility features, Hero Lectro has loaded the MUV-E e-bicycle with an LED screen that will display ride and battery stats and a dedicated mobile charging port. The cargo-style electric motorcycle will use a 7-speed Shimano gear module and feature shock absorber at the front for smooth navigations. For braking it will use disc brakes for efficient stopping power.
