Honda E2W Factory In India : When Will It Be Established?
Honda Motor Company will be setting up its dedicated EV plant in India by the within next two years. The timeline revealed by the company is of 2028. Honda’s new manufacturing unit will be specifically for electric two wheelers. It is said to be established neat Honda’s current two wheeler manufacturing plant in Narasapura (Bengaluru;’s outskirts). However, confirmation on this piece of information has not arrived from Honda yet.
Honda is not just looking to grow its presence in the E2W in the country but also international markets. The brand is said to be using the upcoming manufacturing unit as an export hub and ship the products to other growing markets.

New Honda Electric Motorcycles And Scooters Incoming?
Honda is expected to manufacture both electric scooter and motorcycles at the factory. In the pilot phase, the company will start with manufacturing 4 kW battery models which will be equivalent to 100 cc bikes. These models are also said to be manufactured for international markets as well. By 2023, Honda further aims to boost its EV operations and could launch 30 new models.
