Honor made the Honor Magic Vs foldable phone with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU official in China in November 2022. There are several rumors that the company would release two or three foldable phones in the domestic market this year. China’s MIIT authorities have certified a new Honor smartphone with the model number VER-AN10. There are numerous rumors claiming that it could be the impending foldable Honor Magic V2.
The Honor Magic V2’s specifications have not been made public by the MIIT certification, but it does provide a hint as to when it might be released. The handset, according to rumors, could come with two different processor versions, such as the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. According to rumors, the Honor Magic V2 could be unveiled in July. It is anticipated that the Magic V2 would have a thinner and lighter design than the Huawei Mate X3. Comparatively, the Mate X3, which debuted in March of this year, folds to measure 156.9 x 72.4 x 11.8mm and weighs around 240 grams.
Honor Magic V2: Expected Specifications
According to the information that Tipster Digital Chat Station revealed earlier last month, the Magic V2 would have a bespoke 2K LTPO foldable screen with high-frequency dimming. It will have a high-density dual-cell battery with a capacity of 2840mAh + 2060mAh, which might total 5,000mAh.
66W cable charging and 50W wireless charging is reportedly supported by the Magic V2. The V2’s additional specifications have not yet been made public. It will face competition from forthcoming foldable phones like the OPPO Find N3 and the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3. In the international market, the latter is most likely to be renamed the OnePlus V Fold.
