Honor apparently is back in India with a new product. Following the Honor Pad 8 mid-range Android tablet, the Chinese OEM has now introduced a new laptop lineup for mid-range consumers. The Honor MagicBook X14 and MagicBook X16 are the latest addition to Honor’s product portfolio in India with features like metal unibody design, full size backlit keyboard, 12th Gen Intel processors, and more. Honor has launched the MagicBook X14 and the MagicBook X16 with similar set of hardware. Both these new mid-tier MagicBook series laptops are powered by the 12th Gen Intel Core i5 processor combined with Intel UHD Graphics. The RAM and storage configuration is also identical on both laptops. The MagicBook X14 and the MagicBook X16 can be purchased with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage space.

This configuration is apt for smooth performance delivery with demanding tasks and apps. Both Honor MagicBook X14 and MagicBook X16 comes will ship with the Windows 11 OS pre-installed. The display panel packed inside the Honor MagicBook X14 is a 14-inch IPS that supports a pixel density of 161 PPI and an aspect ratio of 16:10.

The screen on the latest Honor laptop comes with an FHD resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and has 300 nits peak brightness, and 100% sRGB color gamut. On the other hand, the MagicBook X16 gets a bigger 16-inch IPS LCD which supports the same 1200 x 1920 pixels FHD resolution, 161 PPI pixel density, and 16:10 aspect ratio.

Both Honor MagicBook X14 and the MagicBook X16 laptops feature a full-side backlit keyboard and also an 720P HD web camera for online conferences and meetings. For security purposes, the power key is integrated within the power key on both MagicBook X14/X16 laptops.

In terms of connectivity, the Honor MagicBook X14 and the MagicBook X16 laptops featureone USB Type-C port, one HDMI port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one 3.5mm, microphone combo jack. Wi-Fi (dual-band) and Bluetooth 5.1 handles the wireless network support on the MagicBook X series laptops. Lastly, the power delivery is handled by a 60Whr battery on the MagicBook X14 and the MagicBook X16 laptops. A 65W Honor Supercharge power adapter will ship with the units.

The Honor MagicBook X14 laptop with 8GB RAM is announced at Rs. 48,990, while the 16GB RAM variant will cost Rs. 51,990. The Honor MagicBook X16 can also be purchased with 8GB RAM and 16GB RAM options priced at Rs. 50,990 and Rs. 53,990 respectively. Both new Honor laptops are available for purchase via Amazon in Gray color option.
