Hyundai Motors has finally rested all the rumors regarding the Creta’s electric variant launch. The company has announced the official date for the Creta e-SUV India debut which is scheduled for next month. We already have got the glimpse of the Creta electric via leaked spy shots and it seems fairly identical to its ICE counterpart.

Hyundai Creta Electric SUV India Launch Date

Hyundai Motors is set to launch the Creta EV next month in India. This development comes after the confirmation for the Creta EV’s 2025 India launch was revealed by the brand recently. Hyundai has scheduled the Creta EV’s unveiling for 17 January 2025. Its the same date when Bharat Mobility Global

The price bracket for the Creta electric has not been hinted by the company yet. However, rumors are rife the Creta electric will be introduced with a starting price range of around Rs. 20 lakh. If that’s true, the Creta electric will be the next rival to Mahindra BE 6, Curvv EV, and the MG ZS EV. It will also go up against the upcoming eVitara with tihs price range.

Hyundai Creta Electric Expected Powertrain And Features

The Creta electric version will be retaining the same exterior design as the ICE variant with certain distinctions. It will get a blanked-off grille and aerodynamically-enhanced alloy wheel design. The interiors of the Creta electric will also be the same as the ICE variant.

Inside the cabin, it will sport a new 3-spoke steering wheel and feature a dual screen setup on the dashboard. The Creta electric is expected to offer panoramic sunroof and could be equipped with ventilated seats and automatic climate control. Hyundai is also expected to load the Creta electric with advanced range of safety features such as up to six airbags, ADAS level 2, and 360° surround camera system.
