Hyundai Creta EV is currently the talk of the town. The all electric mid-range Hyundai e-SUV is going through series of tests which has led to multiple sightings of the test mule within a short span. There have been several rumors indicating the Creta EV’s upcoming India launch by next year. A new report has surfaced which indicates that indeed the launch is planned for early 2025 with the productions kick starting later this month.

Hyundai Creta EV Official India Launch Timeline Out
The popular Hyundai mid-size SUV Creta is all set to break covers in an all electric avatar in India. Hyundai will be launching the Creta EV in January 2025 in India. However, Hyundai has not announced the exact launch date for the Certa EV on the said timeline and this information comes via industry sources.
The last test mules of the Creta EV snapped with a new camouflage indicated production-ready units being tested. These past few sightings of the Creta EV test mule have been indicating the imminent launch which now is confirmed for the first month of 2025. Besides, the online reports also indicate that Hyundai will begin the mass production of the Creta EV by the end of 2024 in the country.
With the Creta EV’s launch, Hyundai will be making a solid bet in the mid-range EV segment where only a handful players are currently dominating the market. The likes of Tata Nexon EV and the MG ZS EV will be the primary rivals of the Creta EV besides the upcoming Maruti Suzuki eVX and the Tata Curvv EV. Expected price range for the Creta EV could be between Rs. 25 to Rs. 30 lakh based on all the speculations. However, we can’t yet verify the pricing detail as of now.

Hyundai Creta EV: All Details Known So Far?
Hyundai Creta EV test mules have that have been leaked so far have revealed the same design approach as the Creta ICE model. It does have the EV specific design highlights which include a closed-off grille, charging port on the front bumper, and aerodynamic alloy wheels for reduced air drag.
