Instagram Direct Scheduling Functionality: Who Benefits The Most?
Meta has been testing the message scheduling feature for Instagram and now has released its stable update. This new DM schedule feature will allow the users to set to specific time and date to send a message to their followers. Using this option, one can pre-schedule any text message or even memes and post.
This will come handy if someone is planning to schedule any message at odd hours without disturbing the recipient. This new feature is released globally and is expected to be available for all gradually. Do note, there is a cap on the timeframe for scheduling any direct message. Users can only schedule message up to 29 days before.
The DM scheduling feature while being useful for the general masses is expected to majorly benefit content creators. It will allow a better and planned interaction with the fans where in scheduling an important update will now be easier.

How To Use Instagram DM Schedule Feature?
Step 1: Ensure your Instagram app is updated to the latest version
Step 2: Launch the app and head to the DM section
Step 3: Open the contact to whom you want to send a scheduled message
Step 4: Type the text in the message box
Step 5: Press and hold the send button
Step 6: A new calendar banner will show up. Set the time and date for the message
Step 7: Tap on the “Send On” option to schedule it for a later date.
