1. Refreshed Design
The iPhone 17 series is rumored to feature a refreshed design, setting it apart from its predecessors. With a focus on aesthetics and innovation, Apple aims to offer a visually appealing device that stands out in the market.
2. Introduction Of iPhone 17 Slim
In a surprising move, Apple is reportedly ditching the “Plus” variant and introducing a new model called the iPhone 17 Slim. This variant will boast a 6.6-inch display, making it slightly larger than the standard iPhone 17 with a 6.1-inch screen.
3. Advanced Chipset and RAM
The iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Slim are expected to be powered by either the A18 or A19 Bionic chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Pro models – iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max – will likely feature the A19 Pro chipset with a whopping 12GB of RAM. This upgrade in processing power ensures smoother performance and better multitasking capabilities.
4. Enhanced Front Camera
One of the most significant upgrades rumored for the iPhone 17 series is the front-facing camera. All models are expected to sport a 24MP front camera, a substantial improvement from the 12MP shooters found in the iPhone 15 series. This enhancement promises sharper selfies and improved video calls.
5. Redesigned Dynamic Island
The iPhone 17 Pro Max is rumored to feature a narrowed Dynamic Island, thanks to a new “metalen” technology for the proximity sensor. This innovation allows Apple to reduce the size of the Face ID sensor, resulting in a sleeker design. Meanwhile, the other iPhone 17 models will retain the current Dynamic Island design.
