iQOO 9 Pro India Models Gets Listed At Geekbench; Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 12GB RAM Confirmed

iQOO is ready to introduce its new premium gaming series in India dubbed iQOO 9. Two models in the upcoming series including the vanilla iQOO9 and the iQOO 9 Pro are heading to the Indian stores. While the exact launch date is yet to be announced by the Chinese brand, an official launch is anticipated next month in February.

Earlier this month, the entire specifications of the vanilla iQOO 9 and the iQOO 9 Pro Indian models were leaked online. Now, the Pro model has stopped by Geekbench. The processor and details along with the benchmark scores have been listed at benchmark websites.

iQOO 9 Pro Indian Model Gets Listed On Geekbench

The iQOO 9 Pro Indian model’s Geekbench listing has been first reported by Mysmartprice. The device has been listed at the benchmark website with the Vivo I2022 model number. The benchmark website mentions an octa-core chipset with a base frequency of 1.78GHz. While the exact processor name is not mentioned, the ‘taro’ motherboard listed confirms it to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.

The iQOO 9 Pro Geekbench listing further reveals 12GB RAM configuration. There could be other variants as well but we will have to wait if the brand will bring additional variants in the country. The storage space are not listed on the benchmark website but we can expect atleast 256GB paired up with 12GB RAM.

The iQOO 9 Pro will be debuting with Android 12 OS topped with a custom skin. The only other detail shared by the listing is the benchmark scores. The Pro model has scored 1240 points in the single-core test on Geekbench, while in the multi-core test this handset has achieved 3590 points.

Other leaked features of the iQOO 9 Pro includes an AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole camera cutout. The camera setup tipped for the iQOO 9 Pro is a triple lens module comprising a 50MP main sensor. The primary camera on the Pro model is rumoured to be clubbed with another 50MP sensor and a 16MP sensor. The exact battery capacity isn’t revealed but the handset is said to come with 120W fast charging support.
