iQOO has been grabbing all the headlines for its upcoming flagship gaming series launch in India. After several leaks and rumors, the brand itself announced the iQOO 9 series launch in the country. The brand is bringing three different models namely the iQOO 9, iQOO 9 Pro, and the iQOO 9 SE. All the features and specifications of the upcoming iQOO 9 models in the country have been leaked. The pricing details have also been tipped. Now, after all the wait the brand has confirmed the official launch date for the iQOO 9 series.
iQOO 9 Series Official India Launch Date Announced
The iQOO 9 series is finally confirmed to debut in India on February 23 in the country. All three models including the iQOO 9, iQOO 9 Pro, iQOO 9 SE are expected to be launched on the same date in the country. This timeline corroborates what the leaks have suggested.
The latest generation iQOO phones availability has also been confirmed for the Indian market. The company will be selling the iQOO 9 series via e-commerce giant Amazon in India. But apart from the three models, a special edition variant has also been tipped. Going by the official teasers, the iQOO 9 series will also have a BMW M Motorsport Limited Edition model.
The iQOO 9 SE is said to be the low-end model in the iQOO 9 series. The iQOO 9 and the iQOO 9 Pro have already been announced. However, the iQOO 9 SE is an entirely new model which hasn’t been announced even in the international markets.
Both iQOO 9 SE is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC, while the standard iQOO 9 is said to come with Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC. The iQOO 9 Pro which is the top-end model is said to come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. All three models are confirmed to ship with Android 12 OS topped with Fun Touch OS. We will also get to see fast-charging support on all three models.
As per the leaks, the standard iQOO 9 will be launched with a 6.56-inch LCD display, while the iQOO 9 Pro will flaunt a 6.78-inch display panel. Both models will support a 120Hz refresh rate and an FHD+ screen resolution.
