OnePlus has been consistently stealing the headlines for its latest Android flagship lineup, i.e., OnePlus 12. All this while OnePlus has been giving us a sneak peek of the successor to the OnePlus 11. Now, the Chinese OEM has revealed the launch date for the OnePlus 12 in its home country China. Rumors are also indicating the launch of the OnePlus Ace 3 which essentially would be rebadged as the OnePlus 12R in the global markets.
OnePlus 12 Official Launch Date Announced
OnePlus 12 is scheduled to break covers on December 4, 2023. OnePlus will be hosting the launch event in its home country China. As of now, the OnePlus 12’s availability is expected to be limited to the Chinese markets only. Global launch will likely be happening in the Q1 of 2024. This same timeline is expected for the Indian market too.

OnePlus Ace 3 Also Launching?
It is rumored that OnePlus will also launch the OnePlus Ace 3 on the aforementioned date in China. However, this model will debut in the remaining regions including India rebadged as the OnePlus 12R. It is worth mentioning that OnePlus has not shared any confirmation on this piece of information. But if the rumors are true, OnePlus could reveal the details soon.

OnePlus 12 Specifications (Rumored)
Besides the leaks factory, OnePlus itself has shared some clear insight into the hardware features that the upcoming flagship OnePlus 12 model will offer.
- OnePlus 12 will employ a new AMOLED display which was confirmed by the brand at a BOE conference
- Display will support 2K screen resolution and will integrate an optical fingerprint scanner
- OnePlus 12 is confirmed to be powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset
- Is expected with upgraded camera hardware which will be Hasselblad-backed
- Could use a 5,400 mAh battery pack for power backup
- Tipped to feature 100W fast charging similar to its predecessor, i.e., OnePlus 11
