Vision: JioBharat Lineup
Sunil Dutt, President of Jio’s devices division, shared some exciting plans for the future of the JioBharat feature phones. The ultimate goal is to transition about 250 million 2G users to 4G and beyond. To achieve this ambitious goal, Jio is collaborating with renowned feature phone manufacturers like Lava, Nokia, and Itel.
Jio’s vision is to establish JioBharat as a common platform that offers a consistent experience across all devices. While each manufacturer may bring their own unique designs, sizes, and colours to the table, certain core aspects of the phones will remain consistent. This approach allows users to easily recognize and connect with JioBharat, irrespective of the specific device they choose.
