Reliance Jio has finally announced the launch of its much-awaited smartphone JioPhone Next in the country. The JioPhone Next smartphone was developed under the partnership of Google and Reliance Jio. The smartphone will be available from Diwali for Rs. 1,999 down payment and the rest of the amount can be paid through EMI.
Notably, the company wants to convert 2G users into its 4G services, which is why it is the first time any affordable device comes with EMI options. But, in case if you do not want or wish to choose the EMI option, then you can also pay Rs. 6,499 for the JioPhone Next.
The company has also announced that interested buyers can purchase the device from JioMart Digital retail locations. However, to get the JioPhone Next, you have to register yourself first.
How To Register For JioPhone Next
Step 1: To register for JioPhone Next, you have to visit the nearest Jio Mart Digital store or Jio.com/next, or WhatsApp. However, to register yourselves, you have to send Hi to 70182-70182.
Step 2: You will get the confirmation and, then you have to visit the JioMart retailer to get the JioPhone Next.
JioPhone Next EMI Options
India’s largest telecom operator Reliance Jio has also announced some EMI options for the JioPhone Next. These plans are known as Always on plan, Large plan, XL plan, and XXL plan. Under the first Always on plan is priced at Rs. 300 for 24 months, while Rs. 350 pack is for 18 months. Besides, you will get 5GB of data along with 100 minutes for calling per month.
The second plan is known as the Large plan, which is priced at Rs. 450 per month for 24 months, whereas Rs. 500 per month for 18 months. This pack also offers 1.5GB of data per day and unlimited calling.
The XL plan will cost you Rs. 500 per month for 24 months and Rs. 550 for 18 months. This pack provides 2GB of data per day and unlimited calling. Lastly, there is a pack XXL, which is priced at Rs. 550 per month for 24 months and Rs. 600 for 18 months. This pack also offers 2.5GB of data per day along with unlimited calling.
JioPhone Next Specifications
As far as specifications JioPhone Next is concerned, the device comes with Pragati OS, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and 5.45-inch HD+ (720×1,440 pixels) display. It has a 1.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 quad-core SoC, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage, which can be increased up to 512GB.
On the optics front, the JioPhone Next has a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera. The JioPhone Next comes with a 3,500 mAh battery, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, dual-SIM, Micro-USB port, and 3.5mm audio jack.
