Last week itself, Kia teased its upcoming SUV for the Indian. The teaser sketches shared earlier revealed the upcoming SUV will bring along the evolved Design 2.0 philosophy. Soon after the speculations started doing rounds hinting it to be none other than the Syros. Well, Kia India has just confirmed the model which is being brought to the Indian shores soon.

Kia Syros SUV India Launch On Cards
Kia India has revealed the upcoming SUV’s model name which it teased earlier. As expected, its the Kia Syros which will be breaking covers soon in the Indian market. The new SUV will be using the updated Kia 2.0 design philosophy bearing resemblance with the ultra-premium EV9 in terms of the design language.
The upcoming Kia Syros SUV will be future-ready when we consider the overall design and features it is expected to offer. The fresh updated design is expected to set up new standards in the SUV space; specifically the segment in which it will debut. The Syros will offer a roomy and spacious cabin which will be further loaded with advanced tech and safety features.
A closer look at the teasers hints an entirely new design (slightly familiar to the EV9). The teasers also reveals door-mounted ORVM setup along with new set of headlamps. Instead of a sloping or curved roofline, the Syros will come with a flat roof. Additionally, it is expected to come equipped with several industry-first features specifically connected car tech.

Kia Syros SUV: Will It Be ICE Or Electric?
Kia has not dropped all the details yet. However, the Syros is initially expected to debut with an ICE engine. But the possibility of the Syros SUV electric variant’s launch isn’t ruled out entirely. There are indications that the Syros electric version will also be launched in India. The electric version of the Syros SUV will possibly be driven by a 45 kWh battery producing around 400 km range on a full charge.
