Additionally, the company has plans to unveil its India-specific EV later in the year, and the pricing details are expected to be disclosed at the 2025 Auto Expo. The EV9, a three-row electric vehicle, stands out among Kia’s launches. Originally showcased in concept form at the 2023 Auto Expo, the production version is set to hit the market in 2024. India can expect both 2WD and 4WD variants, boasting a range of approximately 400-500km depending on the chosen model. Positioned as the first three-row EV in India, excluding commercial vehicles, the EV9 is likely to be priced at around Rs. 90 lakh and offered in a CBU (Completely Built Unit) guise.

Kia Carens

Second on the list is an India-specific EV, anticipated to be an electric version of the Carens. Positioned as a three-row vehicle, it presents a compelling option in its price category. With an estimated range of 400-500km, this EV could be priced around the Rs. 30-35 lakh mark, offering an exciting prospect as the first three-row EV in its segment.
