Lamborghini has also officially unveiled its first fully electric car. The brand took to the 2023 Monetary Car Week to showcase its entirely electric super car which is called the Lanzador. It’s almost two years since the brand first confirmed its plans to venture into the electric vehicle space and has finally revealed what it has in stores for the consumers globally.
Lamborghini Lanzador Electric Super Car: What All We Know
The first fully electric car from Lamborghini has been positioned between the brand’s mid-range super cars and the most premium model Urus. With the Lanzador, Lamborghini is strategically creating a concrete roadmap for its new-generation lineup (all electric). This concept car will be shaping a “concrete vision” for the same.
Furthermore, Lamborghini Lanzador is said to offer the same level of premium ride experience as the brand’s remaining high-end super cars. As the Lanzador has been showcased as a concept, it will take a while for it to hit the production bay entirely. If we go by the anticipated timeline, the Lamborghini Lanzador will be available officially in the market by 2028. Now, that’s a long wait for the Lamborghini fans to get their hands on an fully electric super car from the brand.
What About Lamborghini Lanzador’s Powertrain And Features?
Lamborghini is currently keeping the Lanzador’s powertrain and feature details under the wraps. Not much has been officially revealed, but the company has revealed it took almost two years to unveil this concept car. Nevertheless, going by the information available, we know this super electric car will be a GT (grand tourer) with a four door design and 2+2 seating arrangement.
The Lanzador’s will have a height of 1500 mm and will have improved aerodynamics for the premium ride experience. Each axle of the Lamborghini Lanzador will have a high-power electric motor which confirms it will be an all-wheel-drive super electric car. While Lamborghini hasn’t revealed the exact power that will be produced by the Lanzador, it has tipped over 1 megawatt power which is around 1,340 bhp.
The Lamborghini Lanzador will be equipped with a new-generation battery pack which as per the company will ensure longer riding range with each charge cycle. However, the exact range is yet to be revealed. To further boost the riding experience, the Lamborghini Lanzador will be packed with multiple sensors and also LDVI (Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata) driving control system.
