With the release of the BYD 2023 Dolphin, the Warren Buffett-backed electric vehicle firm BYD has increased the range of its vehicles. The company’s “Marine Aesthetics” design is used on the electric vehicle. It is powered by LFP Blade batteries and has a 7.5 second acceleration time from 0 to 100 kmph. It is currently accessible in China. It has a starting price of CNY 1,16,800, or approximately Rs. 13.9 lakh. The top-tier model of the vehicle costs CNY 1,36,800 (about Rs. 16.3 lakh). No information is available on whether or when the business would introduce the BYD 2023 Dolphin electric vehicle to India.

BYD 2023 Dolphin electric car: Interior
The BYD Dolphin EV’s interior features a 12.8-inch floating centre control screen, a 5-inch full LCD instrument panel, and a steering wheel with a flat bottom and several functions. The electric car includes features like front seat heating, a passenger seat that is electrically adjustable in four directions, a driver seat that is electronically adjustable in six directions, and a centre armrest with a cup holder in the back.

BYD 2023 Dolphin electric car: features
The BYD 2023 Dolphin electric vehicle is expected to have a slick appearance according to Chief Designer Wolfgang Egger’s “Marine Aesthetics” language. The car measures 4070x1770x1570mm and has a 2700mm wheelbase. Depending on the model, the wheels will be 16 or 17 inches. The electric automobile is available in the colors Pupu Pink, Beibei Grey, Cheese Yellow, Surfing Blue, Atlantis Grey, Taro Purple, and Black.
The electric vehicle is powered by a front permanent magnet synchronous motor. There will be two output options available, with cruising ranges of 420 km and 401 km for each of the two engines (70 kW/180 Nm and 130 kW/290 Nm). Each model is said to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.9 and 7.5 seconds, respectively.
The 44.9 kWh BYD LFP Blade battery pack is connected to the engine in the BYD Dolphin electric vehicle. The EV is compatible with 60kW fast charging.
