Lava, an Indian homegrown handset maker, has finally launched its first 5G smartphone in the country. The smartphone comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor, 8GB RAM, and 128GB ROM. It also has 64MP primary camera sensor and 10 preloaded camera features.
Lava Agni 5G Smartphone: Specifications
The Lava Agni 5G smartphone runs Android 11. It features a 6.78-inch full HD+ display along with a 90Hz refresh rate and a hole-punch design. Besides, the Lava first 5G smartphone comes with a quad rear camera setup, including a 64MP primary sensor along with an f/1.79 six-piece lens.
The smartphone comes with a 5MP wide-angle shooter, 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro shooter. In addition, the camera features some preloaded modes, including Super Night, AI Mode, and a Pro Mode. Also, the device house a 5,000 mAh (Typ) Li-Polymer battery along with 30W fast charging support.
Furthermore, the device comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth V5.1, Type C USB connectivity, OTG support, Wi-Fi, and more. Besides, the device is expected to compete against the Samsung M32 5G, Moto G5G, and the Realme 8s 5G. Additionally, the company claims that the smartphone can be charged in less than 90 minutes.
Lava Agni 5G Smartphone: Price And Availability
The Lava Agni 5G is priced at Rs. 19,999 for the 8GB of RAM and 128GB of in-house storage. As far as availability is concerned, the device will be available on Amazon and the company’s e-store from Tuesday. Apart from that customers who want to buy a newly launched Lava phone have to pay Rs. 500 and they will get a discount of Rs. 2,000.
It is worth noting that Lava is the only Indian handset maker that has launched a 5G device in the country, which is why we expect that soon others will come up with the 5G smartphone. The timeline has not been shared by the latter, but we expect that Micromax will join the wagon soon.
