Lenovo has been building a strong portfolio with gaming products including smartphones and laptops. But now, the brand has ventured into the handheld gaming console segment with its first ever product called the Legion Go. The Lenovo Legion Go is a full-fledged handheld gaming console which features a large LCD screen accompanied by joysticks and other controls on the side panels. The screen integrated inside the Lenovo Legion Go gaming console measures 8.8-inches. It is a PureSight LCD panel that supports a 1600 x 2560 pixel resolution.
The screen further has a high refresh rate of 144Hz which will improve the gaming visuals. The display brightness level is 500 nits and DCI-P3 color gamut is 97.3 percent. The Lenovo Legion Go handheld gaming console is powered by the AMD Ryzen Z1, Ryzen Z1 Extreme processors. The SoC is combined with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe 2.0 storage options.
The operating system pre-installed inside the first Lenovo Legion is Windows 11 which is further accompanied by Lenovo Legion Space sofware. It also features two USB Type C ports, one 3.5mm headphone jack and has a microSD card slot for adding an external microSD card.
The Lenovo Legion Go handheld gaming PC is packed with a 49.2 Wh battery pack. The battery comes with a 65W fast charging support and is said to get up to 70 percent charge within 30 minutes of a plugin. Separately, the compatible controllers are equipped with a 900 mAh battery pack each.

Lenovo Legion Go Handheld Gaming Console Price, India Launch Date
The Lenovo Legion Go handheld gaming PC is launched in the US starting at a price label of $699. This translates to roughly around Rs. 57,000 in Indian currency. The first-ever Lenovo handheld gaming device will be available for purchase starting October 2023. However, its availability in the Indian market and the exact pricing is yet to be officially announced.
