Lenovo has officially launched its latest lineup of unconventional desktop workstations, comprising the ThinkStation PX, P7, and P5 models. These innovative workstations, developed in collaboration with Aston Martin, feature Intel’s latest processor technology and NVIDIA RTX professional GPUs.

In a groundbreaking collaboration, Lenovo partnered with the prestigious high-performance automotive manufacturer, Aston Martin, to breathe life into the ThinkStation PX, P7, and P5. This partnership aimed to create workstations that not only deliver exceptional performance but also embody Lenovo’s signature red design language and Aston Martin’s design philosophy. Incorporating Automotive Inspiration

Drawing inspiration from the iconic Aston Martin DBS Grand Tourer, the chassis design features a 3D grill pattern, reminiscent of high-performance automobiles. Redesigned air baffles, larger 3D hex ventilation openings, and Lenovo’s patented tri-channel cooling system ensure optimal airflow. The workstations also flaunt an innovative modular design with front-access drives.

Equipped with the latest 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors, offering up to an astonishing 120 CPU cores, the ThinkStation PX boasts a 53% average performance increase compared to its predecessor. Supporting up to four dual-slot NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada Generation GPUs, this workstation handles complex workflows, including creative finishing and CAE simulations. With its rack-optimized design, it seamlessly transitions between desktop and data center environments, further enhanced by up to 2TB of DDR5 memory with ultra-fast bandwidth through PCIe Gen 5 lanes.

ThinkStation P7

With up to 56 cores supported in a single socket and the most recent Intel Xeon W processors, the ThinkStation P7 introduces a ground-breaking computing architecture. The NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada Generation GPUs supported by the ThinkStation P7 are aimed at content producers, architects, designers, engineers, and data scientists. It handles graphics, visualization, real-time rendering, CAE, and AI performance, making it an ideal choice for tasks ranging from automotive styling to complex video production.
