Consumer electronics company LG has launched a new range of home appliances, including Smart Home Appliances. The new range lineup, includes VIRAAT Air Conditioners, InstaView Door-in-Door, Frost Free Refrigerators, AI Direct Drive Washing Machines, Puricare Wearable Air Purifier, UV+UF Water Purifiers, and a new range of Charcoal Microwaves.
Meanwhile, the company said that it is expecting 30 percent growth in 2022 in its home appliances and air conditioners segment this year as it has launched a new range of products in India.
“In the previous calendar year, we have seen a growth of more than 20 percent (for home appliances and AC), and we are expecting to grow more than 30 percent this year with the new line of products, which we have introduced today,” Deepak Bansal, LG Electronics India VP-Home Appliances & Air-Conditioners was quoted by the news agency.
It is worth noting that air conditioners and home appliances are contributing 70 percent to the LG’s revenue, he added. The report also pointed out that the segment received Rs. 15,000 crore of revenue in 2021 and claims that refrigerators and air conditioners reported growth at the beginning of this year and are expected to continue in the coming months.
“We have already started to see a precursor to the unprecedented growth which we are going to see in the refrigerators and AC. The pace of growth is much higher than what we had expected,” said Bansal.
LG 2022 Refrigerators: Details
The newly launched refrigerators feature a flat design and are loaded with metallic decorations, while Frost-free refrigerators come with E-micom. Besides, users can control the settings easily temperature without opening the door.
The LG ThinQ allows you to control key features and users can access the appliances remotely. Plus, the refrigerators have Smart Learner that is powered by AI that analyses the pattern of the refrigerators and increases the cooling accordingly. In addition, the Frost-Free refrigerators have powerful Hygiene Fresh air filters.
LG 2022 Air Conditioners: Details
The newly launched air conditioners are powered by AI technology and will come with multiple in-built sensors, the LG VIRAAT Super 5 Star Air Conditioners have 5.2 ISEER ratings & improved efficiency as against conventional 5-Star Air Conditioners with 4.7 ISEER ratings. LG’s VIRAAT AC has 35 percent bigger outdoor unit.
LG 2022 Air Purifiers: Details
In addition, the company has introduced PuriCare Wearable Air Purifiers that are equipped with Hepa Filters, Dual Fans, Voice ON, IPX4 technology, and more. The company claims that these air purifiers will provide pure and clear air for the entire day.
Apart from these products, the company has launched washing machines, microwaves, water purifiers, dishwashers, and designer series.
