Mahindra’s upcoming electric fleet is constantly going through test runs in India. The BE and the XUV series’ is what Mahindra plans to populate in the country in the coming years. The BE.05 is one of the variants that have been showcased as a concept and is finally seen in a production-ready avatar. The Be.05’s latest spy shots leaked online is said to be of the base trim detailing the some of the key distinctions from the top-spec models.

Mahindra BE.05 E-SUV Base Model Spy Shots Leaked
The Mahindra BE.05 newly leaked test mule images is rumored to be of the base model. The round LED headlamps spotted with the test unit hints it to be the low-spec model. This is considering the high-end trims of the BE.05 are rumored to get fancy headlight unit. Another key difference in design would be the horizontal DRL in the base model, where the top end variants will likely get the L-shaped LED DRLs upfront.
The BE.05 e-SUV’s base trim is also seen sporting flush door handles. This means both base and top trims will get the flush door handle fittings. The BE.05’s new spy shots can be seen mounting a roof carrier. Rumors indicate this setup is being used only for the test version and could be offered as an add-on accessory later. The base trim of the BE.05 is further spotted with standard steel rims which would be replaced with allow wheels in the top-end models.

Mahindra BE.05 E-SUV Expected Features
Mahindra BE.05 e-SUV could use a battery pack ranging between 60 kWh to 80 kWh. The former will possibly be packed inside the low-end trims, while the latter could power the higher variants. The BE.05 is said to come with the new two spoke steering wheel and dual-screen infotainment module. It might be loaded with a 360-degree camera, six airbags, and Level 2 ADAS for safety.
