Mahindra has officially taken the wraps of its highly anticipated BE and XEV electric SUV lineup. The debutant vehicles in these series are the BE 6e and the XEV 9e priced starting at Rs. 18.90 lakh (BE 6e) and Rs. 21.90 lakh (XEV 9e). Mahindra XEV 9e Exteriors
Mahindra XEV 9e is designed coupe-style with a prominently sloping roofline. It has an illuminated Infinity logo unlike the BE logo present on the BE 6e. The fascia of the XEV 9e includes vertical LED projector headlamps and LED DRLs, while the side profile gets the same flush-fit door handles.
The alloy wheels are aero-inspired and have dual-tone finish. At the rear, the XEV 9e electric SUV features connected LED tail lamp setup and have inverted U-shaped LED DRLs. The rear panel also features the illuminated Infinity logo.

Mahindra XEV 9e Interiors
Cabin design is almost similar to the BE 6e with including the dash board layout. However, the XEV 9e has an additional screen (triple screen layout). The XEV 9e’s cabin also has the same two-spoke steering wheel but gets an illuminated infinity logo instead of BE as the BE 6e.

Driving the XEV 9e is the same INGLO platform as the BE 6e. Battery pack options are also dual including a 59 kWh and a 79 kWh offering up to 656 range (ARAI-certified) per charge. This e-SUV model is also introduced with single RWD drivetrain option with the power output being 228 bhp and torque being 380 Nm (same as BE 6e). The charging speeds offered with the 140 kW fast DC chargr is 20 minutes for 20- 80 percent charge. Accelaration speeds which the XEV 9e achieves is 6.8-seconds for 0- 100 kmph.

Mahindra XEV 9e India Price, Pre-Bookings Details
The Mahindra XEV 9e has arrived with a starting price tag of Rs. 21.90 lakh (ex showroom) for the base variant with 59 kWh battery pack. The pre-bookings and deliveries are expected to begin from February and March 2025 respectively.
