Maruti Suzuki’s first electric vehicle, i.e., eVX is inching closer to its launch. Previously tipped to arrive by the end of 2024, the official arrival of the eVX has been delayed with no confirm timeline announced until now. However, it seems that Maruti has finally fixed the timeline for the showcasing of the final production-spec model of the eVX in the global region. Find out the details below:

Maruti Suzuki eVX Global Launch In 2025?
Maruti Suzuki will be announcing the eVX next year. A senior executive from Maruti has revealed the timeline for the company’s first electric SUV’s official debut globally. According to the reports, the final production-ready variant of the eVX will be breaking covers during the Auto Expo 2025 event which is scheduled for January 2025 in India. The launch is expected in the early half of 2025.
It is further being reported that the eVX will be Maruti’s international product offering and the company aims to make it an priority for the international markets, specifically, the European regions as well as the Japanese market. Also, the mother plant for the eVX will be set up in India.
Looking at the developments, Maruti would likely commence the production of the eVX starting the first half of 2025. The company is aspiring to manufacture around 1.5 lakh units annually for export in the European and Japanese markets.

Maruti eVX: Details Known So Far
The eVX will be a mid-size electric SUV which will be taking on the likes of ZS EV and the newly launched Curvv EV post its debut in the Indian market. Maruti will be using Toyota’s 27PL skateboard platform to drive the eVX. We can expect the eVX to debut with both dual motor and a single motor option and is said to deliver over 550 km of range with a full battery charge.
Maruti eVX will have a range of security features such as a 360° camera integration and Level 2 ADAS. The upcoming e-SUV is further expected with a high-quality audio system, connected tech cabin, electronically adjustable driver seat, and more.
