In terms of CPU architecture, the Dimensity 7050 features an octa-core configuration, comprising two powerful Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.6 GHz and six efficient Cortex-A55 cores running at 2.0 GHz. On the other hand, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 also offers an octa-core setup but with four Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores running at 1.8 GHz.
The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1’s advanced 4-nanometer process and slightly higher CPU clock speeds give it a minor advantage in overall CPU performance over the Dimensity 7050.
