MG E5S Images Out: New MG E-SUV?
MG Motor has confirmed its next-in-line EV for the global markets. The official snapshots of the E5S reveals the model’s design which seems to be an all-electric SUV. The images suggests identical design elements being borrowed from the MG 4 hatchback and the Cyberster EV. This is specifically for the fascia (both grille and headlamp design).
Expected Launch Timeline And Availability
MG ES5 e-SUV’s launch timeline’s announcement is yet to come officially. However, MG could lineup the launch soon based on the developments so far. An official teaser hinting the timeline should float online in the coming months.
The ES5 is rumored to make its initial debut in select global markets. And in those regions, it will possibly replace the ZS EV. But whether or not the ES5 will launch in India remains uncertain as of now. We are waiting for the official confirmation on the same.

MG ES5 Powertrain And Features (Expected)
MG Motor will be using a new EV platform for the E5S called the Nebula. The ES5 EV is said to come with a single motor RWD drivetrain with the motor pack producing up to 167 hp of power. It will generate up to 250 Nm of torque and will be mated with multiple battery pack options. As per MG, the upcoming E5S e-SUV’s three different battery variants will offer range of up to 425 km, 515 km, and 525 km. The battery capacities haven’t been disclosed as of now.
