Micromax IN 2 India Launch On Cards; Price, Key Features Leaked

Micromax has recently expanded its budget smartphone lineup in India with the IN Note 2. Now, the brand is likely to refresh the standard IN series soon in the country with the second-generation model. The upcoming budget offering by Micromax is said to be the IN 2 whose features and pricing have been tipped by a new leak.

Micromax IN 2 Expected India Price And Launch Timeline

The Micromax IN 2 expected India pricing and features have been leaked on Twitter. The launch timeline of the next budget Micromax IN series phone is a mystery as of now. But the company might introduce the second IN series phone in the next few months. Micromax might give some hints on the launch.

As for the pricing, the latest leak suggests the IN 2 will be launched within the price range of Rs. 10,000- Rs. 11,000. It is not revealed how many variants of the device will be launched. The latest report has given some insight into the specifications as well.

Speaking of which, Micromax is said to pack the IN 2 with the Helio G88 processor. This octa-core MediaTek processor is game-centric and is designed for mid-tier phones. The leak doesn’t reveal the RAM and storage capacity but it reveals Android 11 OS.

Furthermore, the Micromax IN 2 is leaked with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display that will support 1080p FHD+ screen resolution. The display refresh rate is said to be 90Hz. Apart from the Micromax IN 2’s camera specifications have also been revealed by the new leak.

At the rear, the device is said to feature a 48MP main camera which will be combined with a set of 2MP sensors. To capture selfies and for video calling, the Micromax IN 2 is said to flaunt an 8MP camera.

The leak also suggests a polycarbonate material for the back panel. It is not yet confirmed of the handset will feature a side-mounted or a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. However, it is rumored to feature a 5,000 mAh battery to keep the processor ticking.  It will also come with 18W fast charging support.
