Motorola has started launching the new-generation Moto G smartphones in India. But it is also working on expanding the Moto Edge lineup by introducing the Moto Edge 30 Xin China. The rumor mill has been giving us a sneak peek of the upcoming premium handset. It is tipped to be in the first lot of devices that will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Now, the live images of the handset have been shared online.
Moto Edge X30 Design Officially Teased
Chen Jin, General Manager of Lenovo China’s mobile division shared the Moto Edge X30’s display image on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo. The device can be seen with a flat edge display that sports a punch-hole cutout at the center-top. Furthermore, the bezels are slim on all sides. The left panel can be seen housing a single physical key which is likely for power or is the dedicated Google Assistant key.
The current teaser shared has only revealed the Moto Edge X30’s display design. However, we might see some more of the renders in the coming days. The company executive has also shared some key display features. The Moto Edge X30’s panel will come with a 144Hz refresh rate. Only limited devices currently offer this higher refresh rate.
Additionally, the Moto Edge X30’s panel will have HDR 10+ certification and 10-bit color support. However, this teaser doesn’t reveal the display size or the panel type. But the remaining hardware features have been tipped via TENAA and other sources.
Moto Edge X30 Specifications Leaked Online
As per the leaks, the Moto Edge X30 will be available with up to 16GB RAM LPDDR5 RAM combined with up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will boot on Android 11 OS. The device is expected to come with a massive 6.67-inch display. The panel is said to be OLED.
The camera specifications are speculated to be a 50MP main camera at the back along with a 5MP, and a 2MP sensor. The company is apparently emphasizing the selfie experience. That’s based on the leaks suggesting a 60MP snapper. The rumors have also tipped a 5,000 mAh battery with 68W fast charging.
