Motorola recently unveiled its first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor-powered handset in the form of the Moto Edge X30. The flagship-grade handset’s arrival is pending in India and the other markets (excluding China). Not just Motorola’s, this handset is amongst the world’s to feature the new flagship Qualcomm chipset. A new report has now surfaced online which reveals the expected time frame for the Moto Edge X30 in India.

Moto Edge X30 India Launch Imminent

The Moto Edge X30’s upcoming India launch has been tipped via a fresh report from 91Mobiles. The company has managed to get details of Moto’s next flagship India arrival timeline via some industry sources. As per the report, the Moto Edge X30 is scheduled to debut in the country by late January or early February. However, the report doesn’t mention any specific date for the Edge X30’s India launch.

It’s almost a month remaining for the Moto Edge X30’s suggested launch in India. The features are already known. But the brand would still drop the teasers for its next flagship phone that is set to hit the Indian shores. And it seems that Motorola wants to stay ahead in this race of bringing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor-powered phone to global consumers.

That’s considering other brands like Xiaomi and Realme have also their iteration of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor-powered phone in the pipeline but are slightly behind Motorola in terms of a global launch. We already know of all the features which the Moto Edge X30 will bring along to the Indian market. The pricing details are unknown as of now.

This would be one of the primary factors that will decide the success of the Moto Edge X30 in India besides the high-end hardware. It would be interesting to see if Motorola manages to keep the pricing on the competitive end to rival the upcoming Realme GT 2 Pro and the Xiaomi 12 series.

Just to recap, the Moto Edge X30’s highlights besides the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor is a 144Hz 6.7-inch OLED display. It features a 50MP triple rear camera setup and a 60MP selfie snapper. The handset gets its fuel via a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging.
