Motorola has several G series smartphones in the pipeline for launch in the Indian market. The Moto G51 5G is one of the variants said to be introduced besides the Moto G31, Moto G71, and the Moto G41 in the country. The rumor mill has started spilling beans related to the upcoming models’ pricing and availability details. We recently shared an exclusive report revealing the Moto G31’s price. Now, a fresh report has hinted at the expected arrival of the Moto G51 in India and its price range.
Moto G51 5G: When Is It Launching In India?
An exclusive report via 91Mobiles has shared the expected launch timeline for the Moto G51 5G. As per the report, the device will be launched in India in December this year. The report doesn’t confirm the exact date nor does it reveal whether the launch will take place in the first half of towards the end of next month.
As far as pricing is concerned, the Moto G51 5G might be priced under Rs. 20,000 in the Indian market. Just for reference, the device has been announced in the European market with EUR 230 price tag. This amount roughly translates to Rs. 19,000 as per Indian currency.
However, in most cases, the pricing of a handset in the Indian market is slightly lower compared to the European region. Therefore, we might see the handset retailing below Rs. 19,000 in the country. This is just our speculation based on the details available. The actual price might vary.
Moto G51 Expected India Features And Specs
Speaking of the hardware, the Moto G51 5G will be debuting with the same set of internals as the European model. The device has already gone official with the Snapdragon 480+ processor. This would make it the first handset in India to offer Qualcomm’s new budget 5G chipset.
We might see the 4GB RAM variant of the Moto G51 5G in India combined with 64GB internal storage. This handset will also have microSD card support. The Moto G51 will sport a massive 6.8-inch LCD display with 1080 x 2400 pixels FHD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 120Hz refresh rate.
For optics, the Moto G51 5G employs a vertical camera setup at the back featuring a 50MP main lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. A 16MP camera will be tucked inside the punch-hole upfront. Completing the spec-sheet would be a 5,000 mAh battery. Notably, the device will come void of any fast charging support and rather ship with standard 10W charging speeds.
