Italy’s electric two wheeler manufacturer VLF recently kicked-off its EV venture in India. The company brought in a new electric scooter priced below Rs. 1.50 lakh. Called the VLF Tennis, the first e-scooter from the Italian brand is being sold as a CKD (completely knocked down) unit being assembled by Motohaus in India. While he deliveries for the Tennis e-scooter has already commenced back in November, the company has revealed its booking milestone.

VLF Tennis E-Scooter Booking Milestone
Motohaus has received huge customer interests for its recently launched VLF Tennis electric scooter. The company has bagged over 300 bookings for its first electric scooter. Just to recap, the Tennis e-scooter was launched last month itself in India (November 2024) and within just a few weeks the bookings have reached in three digits.
This indicates the VLF Tennis is emerging as a popular choice amongst the Indian consumers who are upgrading to an electric scooter. Also, the developments around the same have been confirmed by Tushar Shelke, Managing Director of Motohaus. Deliveries for the VLF Tennis e-scooter have also started last month from November 25. VLF has launched the Tennis electric scooter as a CKD unit. It is being assembled at the Motohaus CKD plant which is located in Kolhapur, Maharashtra.

VLF Tennis E-Scooter Price And Features
Th VLF Tennis e-scooter is introduced at Rs. 1.30 lakh (ex showroom price) in India and comes in three color options – black, white, and red. It underpins a 1.5 kWh motor linked to a 2.5 kWh battery pack. This e-scooter can deliver a rang of 130 km and get a full battery charge within 3 hours.
