The new Nothing Phone 2, which is the next version of the popular Nothing Phone 1, will be released worldwide in July. Carl Pei, the Co-Founder and CEO of Nothing, shared some interesting information about the upcoming phone in an interview with Forbes. One of the main features to look forward to is the bigger battery. The Phone 2 will have a 4,700mAh battery, which is larger than the 4,500mAh battery in the Phone 1.

Nothing Phone 2: Launch & Price
Unlike the first-generation device, which did not have a US release, the Nothing Phone 2 is confirmed to be launched simultaneously in the US and globally. This means that American consumers will have the opportunity to experience the latest offering from Nothing without any delays.
As for the price, specific details have not been disclosed yet. However, considering the mid-range positioning of the Nothing Phone 1, it is expected that the Phone 2 will be competitively priced to attract a wide range of consumers. The beta program for the Phone 1 offered American buyers a chance to participate by paying $299 (approximately Rs. 24,400), granting them access to a black variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. More information about the pricing and variants of the Phone 2 is anticipated to be revealed closer to the launch date.

Nothing Phone 2: Expected Specs
The upcoming smartphone is set to feature some impressive specifications over its predecessor, the Nothing Phone 1, which is inclusion of a slightly larger 4,700mAh battery.
Pei also revealed that the Nothing Phone 2 will be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, signalling a significant upgrade in processing power compared to its predecessor. Although the design of the Phone 2 is expected to be similar to the original Nothing Phone 1, these hardware enhancements promise to deliver enhanced performance and efficiency.
The Nothing Phone 1, which was released in India last year with a starting price of Rs. 32,999, featured a 6.55-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It boasted a 50-megapixel dual-camera setup at the rear and a 16-megapixel selfie sensor. The device offered up to 256GB of storage and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Notably, it also featured a unique transparent back panel with LED lighting called the Glyph Interface.
