Design: Stands Out From The Crowd

cyberstud spin review

NU Republic Cyberstud Spin is stealing the show with its fidget-spinner inspired design theme. Also, despite a unique design approach, the brand has ensured to keep the design durable and sturdy. The metallic finish makes the design sturdy for extended usage. While the design approach is out-of-the-box, you might feel the case a bit bulky to hold.

But that doesn’t hamper the spinning experience at all. In fact, the swooshing sword sound effect that is produced while spinning the fidget case is something that instantly grabs the attention. Even when you pull out the earbuds from the case, you’ll hear the gliding sword noise which as mentioned is definitely a head-turner.

Not the entire unit has a metallic construction and its just a metal finishing on the top. The case accommodating the earbuds get a plastic construction which is decent in quality overall. You won’t skip a beat if you accidentally drop the pair. The charging case gets a USB Type-C charging port which will allow using any standard charger for refuels.

The stem shaped earbuds of the Cyberstud Spin also offers a decent fit. With the added touch controls, you’ll be able to adjust audio volumes, turn on and off the earbuds, play/ pause music, and also change the tracks.

The Cyberstud Spin earbuds are integrated with X-Bass techhnolgy that combines ENC for a refined and clear sound stage. It is said to offer a punchy bass and clear output. The 13mm neodymium magnets earbuds offers a frequency range of 20Hz- 20 KHz and a 40 ms of lag-free response that will enhance the gaming experience. It also comes with a Dual Mode (Game/ Music) where it allows the listeners to toggle between different audio modes for a pristine audio experience.

Now, that’s all the specs on sheet. If we speak of its real-life listening experience, then you are definitely in for a surprise. These TWS earbuds deliver a loud output which is preferred by the Indian audiences. And to live up to the expectations of audiophiles, it throws optimum punch with different genres of music.

The dedicated X-Bass technology allows it to produce a hefty base with the overall sound profile being wide. With ANC feature missing, the noise blockage is handled by the ENC. Don’t expect a fully-isolated experience using this earbud. But the ENC and the in-ear design does a decent job with blocking outside noise.

For those who are concerned with audio leakage and muffling, this earbud will come as a respite. This is considering the sound quality deterioration at the peak volume levels is least. Audio doesn’t tend to muffle or muddy when you turn up the highest volume levels. But you might consider using the earbuds at an average range between 60- 80 percent as the loudness is apt for extended usage.

NU Republic has indeed designed one of the coolest TWS earbuds. The fidget spinner design combined with the sword swooshing audio effect stands out from the rest of the competition in the market. But since it’s an audio accessory, design solely can’t help it beat the competition. And when it comes to audio, its reliable performance comes as its savior.
