Remember our story on the newly launched, lower priced e-scooter from Ola? It is called the S1 (without the Pro badge) and has garnered over 10,000 bookings from prospective customers. Further, customers will start getting the deliveries from 7th September onwards. Ola launched this cheaper S1 at Rs 99,999 to take on the upcoming Simple One Electric scooter.
The Ola S1 e-scooters gets a 3kWh battery pack which is 25% smaller than the one we see on the S1 Pro. Due to this, the ARAI-certified riding range of this scooter is down to 141 km – true range as per Ola is is 101 km in normal mode.
In Eco and Sports mode, the range of the Ola S1 sticks to 128 km and 90 km, respectively. It gets a top speed of 95 kmph. Not just the riding range and battery capacity but the performance too of the S1 has been hampered when compared to its sibling, S1 Pro. Do see all difference between the S1 and S1 Pro here.
