Ola Electric is one the most popular two wheeler electric scooter brands in India. The OLA S1 electric scooter lineup has been a big hit in the Indian market. Earlier this year, OLA grabbed all the headlines for its upcoming electric motorcycles. As many as three different OLA electric motorcycle were tipped to launch in the country. Now, seems that OLA is going all premium with the S1 electric scooters in India. A new ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System)-integrated S1 Pro electric scooter could see the light of the day soon. OLA S1 Pro Electric Scooter With ADAS Security Launching Soon?
The Ola S1 Pro electric scooter with ADAS has been tipped to be under development for a while now. Finally, an official teaser shared by Ola India CEO, Bhavesh Aggarwal confirms the company’s plan to launch the Ola S1 Pro with ADAS.
The short teaser video shared by Aggarwal on Twiiter shows the Gerua color variant of the Ola S1 Pro. The video shows a new tech addition to the handlebar which likely is the ADAS security feature. The video shows the Ola S1 Pro’s additional equipment equivalent size as an action camera. Looking closely at the vide, the “Don’t Put Pressure” label can be read on the additional equipment.
However, it is uncertain if the equipment is indeed an action camera or something else. Nevertheless, the video does show a camera accommodated just above the MID. This could be one of the camera sensors which the Ola S1 Pro would need for the ADAS and Adaptive Cruise control features to work efficiently. The new-generation Ola S1 Pro with ADAS is also said to come with Pedestrian Detection and collision avoidance features.
Ola S1 Pro With ADAS: Reality Or Hype?
It appears that Ola is planning to bring an advanced version of the S1 Pro electric scooter and capture the premium segment. As of now, ADAS tech is majorly limited to high-end cars such as MG Hector, Tata Harrier, and Mahindra XUV 700.

There are hardly any two wheelers that comes with ADAS security system. Therefore, it does remain a big question how Ola cracked this sooner than other major players in the two-wheeler auto industry.
The teaser video does hint something big is coming for Ola electric scooter fans and the Indian consumers. How soon and what exactly is uncertain as of now.
