The Chinese OEM is launching the OnePlus Open foldable Android smartphone next week in India. OnePlus has revealed the Open’s exact launch date. Additionally, the pricing of the first OnePlus foldable Android smartphone is also out. Here’s everything that we know so far:
OnePlus Open Foldable India Launch Date And Price: Cheaper Rival To Galaxy Z Fold 5?
OnePlus is set to launch its first ever foldable smartphone, i.e., the OnePlus Open on October 19 in India. An official microsite on the brand’s India website has confirmed the launch timeline for the new OnePlus foldable Android smartphone. The official page for the OnePlus Open currently only reveals the event schedule. The even will commence at 7.30 PM IST in Mumbai.
The brand will also be streaming the event live via OnePlus India official YouTube channel and other social media handles. Furthermore, the official website listing also has the “Notify Me” tab live which interested buyers can hit to get the latest updates on availability and offers.
Moving on to the prices, the OnePlus Open foldable phone’s price will be set at Rs. 1,39,999 in the Indian market. Tipster Abhishek has shared a post on microblogging website X that reveals the pricing along wih the complete specifications.
While the pricing is over Rs. 1 lakh in the Indian market it still is cheaper compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 5. The affordable cost factor along with top-tier specs will make the upcoming OnePlus foldable phone a strong contender to the Galaxy Z Fold 5 in the country.
Post the official launch on October 19, 2023 launch date, the OnePlus Open foldable phone will go up on sals starting October 27, 2023. Notably, this sale date has been suggested by the tipster and the brand is yet to give an affirmation on the same.
