OPPO’s latest A series phone has finally gone official in its home country China. The new mid-range phone has been introduced soon after its exclusive 360° video and 5K renders leak by Giznext. The successor to the A2 Pro features a mid-tier Dimensity 5G chipset, an FHD+ AMOLED display, and 68W fast charging support. Here are the top highlights of the newly launched OPPO A3 Pro:

OPPO A3 Pro Design

The OPPO A3 Pro’s design falls in line with our exclusive leak that we shared recently. This handset has a slim profile with slightly rounded edges. The rear panel of the A3 Pro sports a big circular camera island layered with a ring on the outside and housing dual sensors and an LED flash. It gets an IP69 certification which makes it water and dust proof. Also, the A3 Pro has a 360° anti-fall body safeguarding it from accidental drops and also scratches.

OPPO A3 Pro Display

For visuals, OPPO has loaded the A3 Pro with a big 6.7-inch screen. The panel type it employs is AMOLED which has an FHD+ resolution support of 1080 x 2412 pixels. The curved AMOLED screen further supports a 120Hz refresh rate and has a punch-hole cutout at the centre-top for the selfie snapper.

OPPO A3 Pro Cameras

For photography, the OPPO A3 Pro’s primary setup at the rear has dual sensors. It’s main sensor is a 64MP lens supporting an f/1.17 aperture combined with an additional 2MP lens for bokeh effects. The secondary sensor has an f/2.4 aperture. Moving upfront, the punch-hole cutout is packed with an 8MP sensor which has an f/2.0 aperture for both selfies and video calling.

OPPO A3 Pro Chipset, OS Version

Taking care of the performance delivery is the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset under the A3 Pro’s hood. It has 5G network support and offers a reliable multitasking experience with the onboard up to 12GB physical RAM. The storage space requirements are met by up to 512GB built-in memory option. Android version pre-installed on the OPPO A3 Pro is Android 14 OS. There is a custom Color OS 14 user interface on top of the Android OS.

OPPO A3 Pro Battery And Fast Charging

OPPO A3 Pro uses a 5,000 mAh battery for power backup and has a 67W SuperVOOC Flash charging support. This battery pack will offer decent backup with one full charge and moderate to extreme usage.

OPPO A3 Pro Pro, Global Availability Details

OPPO A3 Pro’s 8GB RAM+ 128GB storage model comes with CNY 1,999 price label which is approximately Rs. 23,000, while the 8GB RAM+ 256GB storage is launched at CNY 2,199 (roughly Rs. 25,000). The top-end A3 Pro variant which has 12GB RAM and 512GB storage has CNY 2,499 price tag which is around Rs. 29,000 as per Indian currency. As for the color variants, the A3 Pro can be bought inn Azure, Cloud Brocade Powder, and Mountain Blue shades. Global availability for the OPPO A3 Pro remains at large and whether or not it will be introdudced in the Indian market is also not confirmed.
