OPPO is set to expand its mid-range F series with the launch of the OPPO F23 5G in India. The company is bringing the upcoming handset as a successor to the Oppo F21s Pro which has been popular amongst Indian consumers in the mid-tier segment. OPPO has now shared a teaser that confirms the F23 5G’s official India launch timeline and also gives a sneak peek of the handset.
OPPO F23 5G Official India Launch Date
The OPPO F32 5G is making its debut on May 15, 2023, in India. The official teaser has revealed the design along with some of the key specifications that the upcoming mid-range OPPO 5G phone brings to the table. OPPO has also created the F23 5G’s dedicated product microsite on its official India website.
The teaser shows the handset’s back panel featuring a large vertical camera stripe that gives it a unique appeal. The OPPO F23 5G will flaunt a flat frame design that falls in line with modern aesthetics. Also, dual color options of the F23 5G including black and gold are revealed by the official teaser and the microsite. Pricing details aren’t confirmed yet but the OPPO F23 5G could come under Rs. 20,000, This is speculative pricing and the exact cost could be different.

The OPPO F23 5G will be launched with a 120Hz display. This information can be confirmed via the teaser poster. However, the panel type and screen size remains unspecified. Considering it to be a mid-range handset, the F23 5G could come with an IPS LCD panel and over 6-inch screen size.
Speaking of the optics, the OPPO F23 5G is expected to feature a triple rear camera module where the primary lens could be a 64MP sensor aided by a pair of 2MP sensors for depth and macro shots. The triple rear camera module takes the limelight with its distinctive design at the back.
Under the hood, the OPPO F23 5G will be equipped with the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor. The teaser poster and the product page image has revealed 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. The handset will also offer an additional 8GB RAM (virtual).
While the Android version is not listed, we expect this phone to ship with Android 12 OS topped with a custom ColorOS skin. Lastly, the product page listing has revealed a big 5,000 mAh battery unit which will be combined with 67W SuperVOOC Flash charge technology.
