OPPO marked its entry into the Android tablet space with the OPPO Pad tablet. The first tablet by the Chinese tech brand was introduced for premium mid-range consumers. Now, the company has taken another tablet to the production bay which as per the leaks will be debuting with the OPPO Pad Air moniker. The second OPPO Android tablet has made a few sightings online. This time a fresh listing at one of the certification platforms confirms its imminent India launch. OPPO Pad Air India Launch Soon; Expected Price
The OPPO Pad Air is coming soon to India as it has bagged its certification via BIS (Bureau Of Indian Standards In India). The upcoming OPPO tablet’s official website listing at the certification website has been initially spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma with the OPD2102A model number. Notably, the BIS database has only mentioned the build number of the upcoming OPPO tablet and not the exact name.
Since the OPPO Pad Air tablet has already gone official in the company’s home country, i.e, China, we know this model number belongs to the same product. Currently, OPPO is yet to start teasing the arrival and other details including pricing related to the Pad Air tablet in India. However, going by the online reports, the OPPO Pad Air could be priced under Rs. 20,000 in the country.
The launch timeline for the OPPO Pad Air is also unannounced. The rumor mill has also not given any clear insight on the same. But it is speculated that OPPO might release the Pad Air in the country along with the Reno8 series. This means we might see the new OPPO tablet sometime in July this year.
The pricing details are based on speculation and the exact cost could vary. We are not sure how many variants of the upcoming OPPO tablet will be announced in India, but the prices could vary accordingly. Nevertheless, the OPPO Pad Air’s specification would likely be identical to the Chinese variant in India.

The OPPO Pad Air is a premium mid-range Android tablet that is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 680 chipset. The Chinese variant comes with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage option. It runs on android 12 OS with a custom UI on top. The tablet will also come with external microSD card support for additional storage space.
The OPPO Pad Air has a massive 10.36-inch display which supports 2K screen resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The OPPO Pad Air Android tablet’s imaging setup comprises a single 8MP camera at the back and a 5MP selfie snapper. It will be powered by a massive 7,100 mAh battery unit which is accompanied by 18W fast charging technology.
