After OnePlus, OPPO is apparently working in a new budget Android tablet. The Chinese OEM is expected introduce the OPPO Pad Neo tablet model in the global markets. This new OPPO tablet has just cleared its certification which hints at its imminent launch. What else do we know? Read on below:

OPPO Pad Neo Tablet Clears SIRIM Certification Ahead Of Launch: When Is It Launching?

The OPPO Pad Neo tablet has already cleared multiple online certifications which confirms an upcoming launch. After getting certified via NBTC in Thailand, the new OPPO budget tablet has now bagged certification from another international portal, i.e., SIRIM. The OPPO Pad Neo is listed with the OPD2303 model number which is same as the NBTC listing.

Speaking of the launch timeline, the OnePlus Pad Go has currently made limited sightings online. Besides the online certification portals, there is no record of it stopping by the benchmark platform which is primarily associated with the final test runs. Therefore, it would be difficult to comment on the exact timeline. Also, OPPO has not given any insight on the same and we might have to wait for a while before getting all the details.

OPPO Pad Neo: Is It A Rebadged OnePlus Pad Go Tablet?

The OPPO Pad Neo is expected to be an affordable tablet model from the Chinese OEM. Some reports also suggests it could be a rebadged OnePlus Pad Go tablet that debuted recently in the Indian market. However, there is no concrete information that can confirm this rumor.

As for the specs, the SRIIM listing of the OPPO Pad Neo suggests LTE (4G) tablet version. We can expect OPPO to also release a Wi-Fi only version of the Pad Neo tablet. No more detail is currently available related to the hardware features. But considering it be arriving as a mid-range model, we would likely see an LCD panel and a single rear camera lens. It remains to be seen if the new OPPO Pad Neo tablet will be packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon or MediaTek chipset under the hood.
